About me:

• 1984 - 1990: Study of Physics and Astronomy at Bonn University
• 1990 - 1991: Diploma Thesis at Max-Planck-Institut für Radioastronomie, Bonn. (High resolution optical imaging with interferometric techniques.)
• 1991 - 1994: Ph.D. thesis at Radioastronomisches Institut der Universität  Bonn. (Search for soft X-ray absorption features of Galactic neutral clouds)
• 1994 - 1996: Post-doctorial position at RAIUB
• 1996 - 1997: Guest scientist at the Max-Planck-Institut für extraterrestrische Physik, Garching. (ROSAT-Group).
• In 1998 I started my current job as staff astronomer.
