Announcement

The German ALMA community day serves to inform the German astronomical community on recent ALMA developments, on expected observing capabilities, and on the planned user support. There will be a number of presentations on ALMA and ALMA science, with an emphasis on the German perspective. The full announcement can be read here.

The one day meeting will consist of a number of presentations on ALMA and ALMA science, with an emphasis on the German perspective. There will be time a few contributed talks. Here you find the community day programme.

Place/date

The community day will be held on Thursday October 8th 10:00-17:30. The locations is the seminar room at the ground floor of the Argelander-Institut für Astronomie of Universität Bonn.
Directions to the institute can be found here. By flight, the nearest airport is the Cologne/Bonn airport, which is (among others) served by the discount airlines Air Berlin, German Wings and TUIfly. There are also direct connections to the Düsseldorf and Frankfurt airports.

If you like to contribute a presentation or poster, please include a title and abstract if possible. Registration of contributions is closest. Regular attendance is still possible.
