This lecture series is intended for all Master-level or PhD students,
postdocs and grown-up astronomers who are interested to learn more
about the practical issues involved in reducing radio-interferometric
data. After basic introduction lectures, the course will consist of
specialized lectures and practical sessions that use several data analysis
tools (AIPS and CASA). The exact schedule is not fully set yet -

Practice Sessions
We will distribute virtual machine files with pre-installed software packages (CASA, AIPS, ...) and example data sets with instructions on how to get started in reducing and analyzing the data. In the practice sessions we will meet for a general introduction and tutorial on data reduction, and to answer questions and work together on specific issues and problems.
