GalIMF version 1.0.0

by Yan Zhiqiang

Description

GalIMF stands for the Galaxy-wide Initial Mass Function. It is a Python 3 module that allows users to compute galaxy-wide initial stellar mass functions based on locally derived empirical constraints following the IGIMF theory. See GalIMF homepage for more information.

McLuster

von Andreas Küpper

Beschreibung

McLuster is a tool to make a star cluster. The code generates a table of cluster stars which can also be used as input for Nbody codes.

Eine aktuelle Version ist ebenfalls zu finden unter http://www.astro.uni-bonn.de/~akuepper/mcluster/mcluster.html

optimal_sampling

von Jan Pflamm-Altenburg

Beschreibung

The routine optimal_sampling allows to draw stellar masses from an IMF such that the IMF is optimally sampled without stochastic fluctuations.../../~akuepper/mcluster/mcluster.html

bhint

von Ulf Löckmann

Beschreibung

bhint is a post-Newtonian, high-precision integrator for stellar systems surrounding a super-massive black hole.

statpl

von Thomas Maschberger

Beschreibung

statpl is a program which estimates the parameter of power-law distributed data and calculates goodness-of-fit tests for them.

Plumix

von Ladislav Subr

Beschreibung

Plumix is a small package for generating mass segregated star clusters. Its output can be directly used as input initial conditions for NBODY4 or NBODY6 code

mkj_libs

von Manuel Metz

Beschreibung

mkj_libs provides a set of helper routines (vector operations, astrometry, statistical analysis of spherical data) for the main plane-fitting and analysis tools.

Libimf

von Jan Pflamm-Altenburg

Beschreibung

Libimf provides a collection of programming functions based on the general IMF-algorithm by Pflamm-Altenburg & Kroupa (2006).

Catena

von Jan Pflamm-Altenburg

Beschreibung

Catena integrates the orbits of an ensemble of stars using the chain-regularization method (Mikkola & Aarseth) with an embedded Runge-Kutta integration method of 9(8)th order (Prince & Dormand).
