For the lab course "S261: Optical astronomy" (3 LU) you need an individual appointment. Please contact me!
This lab course consists of three parts:
- oral examination and data reduction of Holigrail data (one day)
- observation of asteroids (1/2 to one night) or bad weather tasks if observation is not possible due to bad weather
- data reduction and orbit estimation of taken data (~3 hours)
The observation will be announced on short notice due to our unstable weather here in Bonn. If you can't make it in one night, you'll (hopefully) have another chance in another night.
You have 4 weeks time to hand in your report (only reports in English are accepted). This time span starts after your observation / bad weather tasks. Please note that in case you copy from a source without citing / marking, you will fail and have to redo the entire experiment. Furthermore the lab course administration and probably the examination board are informed.
