Astronomical standard software packages and useful tools to be used from any workstation running AIfA's standard OS (Ubuntu 10.04). Further packages may be added due to request.

Please note that individual packages may be maintained by any qualified member of AIfA, not necessarily by the computing group.

The astronomical software packages are installed at

/vol/software/software/astro

Additional tools which are not part of the local installation are installed at

/vol/software/software/tools

These directories are mounted automatically via automount on all workstations with AIfA's standard OS.
