How to Add Events to Stellar Group Calendar
Getting started:
- Make sure you are on Firefox
- On most AIfA web pages from the calendar's page: log into typo3 via link in upper-right hand corner using your AIfA account's username and password
- You will see 3 columns. Click on List in the left column and on Stellar Calendar Events in the middle column. You should see a list of Calendar Event in the right column. If, however, you don't, please let our webmaster (daniel.markus@gmail.com) know. You will add events from here
Now you're ready to add an event:
Add a record/event by clicking the plus sign above the list (see red circle below).
You can also click on the plus sign on the top bar (green circle); from here go to Calendar Event and follow next steps.
- You should see the Create Event tab page now (left image).
- Fill in the details:
- on General tab you can fill in the most important things: title, when, how long, what (predefined, color-coded) category, and description
- make sure you choose a category from the list
- the other tabs (Recurrence, Location etc.) have additional information that you might want to add
- Important: make sure to save your event by clicking one of the Save icon on top bar (red circle on 2nd image) before you move to another page
- Your event/record should be in the Calendar Event list now.
- You can edit your event by clicking the pen logo of the corresponding event in the Calendar Event list. To delete click on the trash can.
Some notes: >
- Typo3 often has problems immediately updating its cache, so give it some time -a day maybe- when your event doesn't show up right away on the calendar; as long as your event is in the Calendar Event list, you should be fine.
- The calendar itself can be access from here
- The calendar per default displays month-view; other options are day-, week-, year- and event-views
