Presently, I am leading the Emmy Noether group on
The formation and evolution of Milky Way starburst clusters
based at the Argelander Institute for Astronomy at the University of Bonn. Employing adaptive optics techniques at 8-10m class telescopes, we study the initial stellar mass distribution in resolved starburst clusters in Galactic spiral arms and near the center of the Galaxy. A summary of the research context can be found here.
The group is funded by the Emmy Noether programme for young researchers initiated by the German Science Foundation (DFG).
