The write-up of the class on "Stars and Stellar Evolution", taught many years at the University of Bonn, has been turned into a book.

The book consists of 22 chapters, has over 200 figures (of which many are Hertzsprung-Russell diagrams), a summarizing chapter with various lists, and an index.
