Kirsten Kraiberg Knudsen's Homepage
Welcome to my webpage which will likely be forever under construction (whenever I find the time).
I am now an assistant professor at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Until recently, I was an Akademische Rätin at the Argelander-Institut für Astronomie in Bonn. Before that I was a postdoc at the MPIA in Heidelberg, a PhD student at Sterrewacht Leiden and a student at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen.
PhD position in galaxy formation and evolution at Chalmers: deadline
March 31, 2011
Recently Bonn and Cologne had a large funding proposal come through, namely the SFB956, which I am also a part of. There will be job openings, have a look at the webpage.
Press release from Bonn University: Forscher entdecken eine der ältesten Staubgalaxien.
Same discovery was also mentioned in Nature's "Research Highlights".
