Testdata

Find below some data taken with my 12.5" Newonian and a ST10XME at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory in La Palma. You can download the

• the coadded images (in 32bit FITS and in 16bit TIFF format)
• for some cases the full raw data set including calibrations

The coadded images are already colour balanced (using my calibration method). Feel free to take this data and sharpen your skills on them. In return, please be so kind and send me a copy of your result so that I can include it on the according webpage for the benefit of other readers. Jim Misti offers more coadded images for testing.

Terms of use
These data are for your private use only. You can of course show the result on your homepage, but please give credit to me (Mischa Schirmer) and a link to this webpage. The data may be copied e.g. on CD/DVD and passed on to other astrophotographers who don't have a fast connection. These terms of use should then be included in electronic form on the medium used.
Publication in printed media is not permitted unless explicitly granted.
If you use this data for scientific purposes, then I would like to be included in the list of co-authors of any emerging publication. Reference should then be given to
