Three of the for 4K CCDs of BUSCA will be replaced (for the blue, the red and the I-channel). The old ones are frontside devices. Two of the new ones will be backside devices (blue and red channels). All CCDs are or are going to be delivered by Mike Lesser. A new CCD controller will be installed (under development).
Bonn Shutters
Our series of Bonn Shutters started with the exposure shutter of BUSCA. Bonn shutters are medium to large format high precision shutters. We have developed shutters for various CCD and CCD mosaic cameras world wide. Shutter apertures range from 110mm x 110mm to 480mm x 480mm. A 600mm x 600mm device is under development.
