Welcome to my homepage!
I'm a postdoc at the Argelander-Institut für Astronomie in the group of
Professor Peter Schneider.
My research focuses on weak gravitational lensing and its applications
for cosmology and astrophysics. Projects I'm actively involved in at the moment include:
- Euclid
- CFHTLens
- KiDS
- The Massive Distant Cluster Survey
- SPT weak lensing follow-up

If you are searching for astronomical pictures, have a look at our
image of the massive galaxy cluster RXJ 1347-1145, observed with the Advanced Camera for Surveys on board the Hubble Space Telescope.
It provides a beautiful demonstration for the effect of strong gravitational lensing
with many giant arcs:
