Lens surveys with LOFAR

Abstract
After a brief introduction on gravitational lenses in general I argue why LOFAR surveys can and should be utilised as a phantastic tool for future gravitational lens searches. Different strategies to find 1000-2000 new radio lenses are discussed. This is not just a dream but will happen in the near future. A small research group will be established in Bonn starting in August 2007 to work exactly on this and related projects.
