HST/ACS Observations of B0218+357

Abstract

I give an overview of our preliminary analysis of a very deep HST/ACS observation (34+2 orbits) of B0218+357 to measure the position of the lensing galaxy.

We (Andy Biggs, Ian Browne, Chris Fassnacht, Neal Jackson, Leon Koopmans, Tom York and myself) had a short 0218+357 gathering at Jodrell Bank on 13-17 January 2003 to discuss ideas and results. This is the report for my group at home.
