Reaching the Gustav-Stresemann-Institut

The workshop venue is located in Bonn near the tram station "Max-Löbner-Str./Friesdorf".
From there follow the street with the same name for approximately 300 meters, as indicated
on the map below:

Arriving by plane at Cologne-Bonn Airport

Take the Airport-express-bus SB60 to the Bonn central station (Hauptbahnhof or Hbf).
The bus departes at the corner of Terminal 2 (see map) every 30 min.

The ride to Bonn takes about 30 min.
Once at the train station, follow the instructions below.

Arriving by plane at Düsseldorf Airport

Follow the directions to the Sky Train shuttle which will lead you to the train station.
The RE5 train leaving every hour will take you to Bonn central station in roughly 1hr.
The train schedule can be consulted here, just enter your travel date and time.
Once at the train station, follow the instructions below.

Arriving by plane at Frankfurt Airport

Please take the long-distance trains (as opposed to the "Regional Trains") from the
adjacent train station at the frankfurt airport ("Flughafen Fernbahnhof").
Travel direction towards Cologne/Düsseldorf. It takes about 30-40 minutes on most
express ("ICE") trains to arrive at the Bonn/Siegburg station.

Note that this Bonn/Siegburg station is situated outside the Bonn city, and is
connected to the Bonn central station (Bonn HBf) by tram.

From Siegburg, take the tram number 67 towards "Bad Godesberg". It will take you straight
to the stop "Max-Löbner-Str./Friesdorf", which is nearest to the workshop venue.
If the waiting time is too long, you can also take the tram number 66 in the same direction.
In this case, you can choose either of the following:
  1) get off at "Deutsche Telecom/Olof-Palme-Allee" from where it is a slightly longer walk.
  2) get off at the Bonn central station and follow the instructions below.

Arriving by train at Bonn Central station

Take the tram number 16, 63 or 67 from the main train station (the tram lines are marked
by the "U" sign), in the direction of "Bad Godesberg".
They all stop at "Max-Löbner-Str./Friesdorf" near the conference venue.
