Astronomy Day 2026

The Argelander Institute for Astronomy, together with the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy and the Bonn Public Observatory (Volkssternwarte Bonn), invites you to Astronomy Day 2026.

You can look forward to exciting astronomy lectures, live observations (using the 100-meter Effelsberg radio telescope; weather permitting, with telescopes set up in front of the institute), a children’s art and craft corner, an astronomy quiz with prizes, as well as the opportunity to chat with our researchers and ask questions.
